    Mark Daniell is Chairman of The Cuscaden Group, an advisory and investment business based in Singapore. He is also a Director Emeritus of Bain & Company, one of the world's leading strategy consulting firms, Vice Chairman of Aquarius Investment Advisors, a privately owned Singapore-based asset management company and a member of the board of directors of many other companies. Mr Daniell is a specialist in private wealth management, corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, organizational design, and transnational strategy. He has worked with many of the world's leading corporations, entrepreneurs, private banks and ultra high net worth clients over the past two decades on a full range of strategic issues. He also chaired the Singapore private wealth management initiative for the Economic Review Committee in 2002. In addition to his current positions, Mr Daniell is a former Director of investment bank Wasserstein Perella in London and Paris and President of k1 ventures, a strategic investment company listed on the main board of the Singapore Stock Exchange. Mr Daniell's second book, published by Palgrave Macmillan in the UK in 2004, entitled Strategy: A Step-by-Step Approach to the Development and Presentation of World Class Business Strategy was received with great critical acclaim from The Harvard Business School, the Asian Review of Books, Singapore Business Review and other publications. A related book, The Elements of Strategy: A Pocket Guide to the Essence of Successful Business Strategy, will be published by Palgrave Macmillan in July 2006. Mr Daniell's first book, World of Risk was selected as a Sunday Times (London) Business Book of the Week, won numerous awards and is available in multiple foreign language editions. Mr Daniell is a frequent guest on the BBC, CNBC, CNN, Channel NewsAsia and Bloomberg TV channels. He has spoken at the World Economic Forum, The Royal Institute for International Affairs and many other global conferences. Mr Daniell is a graduate of the Harvard Law School (Juris Doctor), Oxford University (University College, BA/MA, Marshall Scholar), Amherst College (BA magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, Deans List, other prizes and scholarships), and the Phillips Exeter Academy (High Honours and National Merit Scholar). He has also attended the Université de Paris IV-Sorbonne (D.E.F. 1er and 2e degrees) and the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris (C.E.P.).
     

    Karin Iris Sixl-Daniell is a Director of The Cuscaden Group Pte Ltd. She holds a PhD in Economic and Social Sciences (Business Administration) from the University of Graz, Austria, as well as a Masters' Degrees in Economics from the same university and a Masters' Degree in Health Care Management from the Danube University Krems, Austria. She is multilingual and has received numerous grants and prizes. She is Member of the Regional Advisory Council to the INSEAD Financial Education for Women initiative FinEdX. Dr Sixl-Daniell currently runs her own research and advisory business in Singapore and is an Assistant Professor and Subject Area Coordinator at U21Global, a consortium of 18 research-intensive universities worldwide (including the University of Virginia, The University of British Columbia, McGill University, the National University of Singapore, the University of Hong Kong, the University of New South Wales, the University of Melbourne, the University of Queensland and others) that delivers graduate programmes online. She is accredited by the member universities to teach Organisational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Strategic Management and Managing International Business at U21Global and is responsible for the integration of these subjects in a joint programme on Entrepreneurship and Family Businesses with the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore (IIM-B). Prior to moving to Singapore, Dr Sixl-Daniell was Assistant Professor and Deputy Head of the Institute of International Management, University of Graz, Austria. She also co-founded a start-up business focusing on the export of gourmet products and served on the board of directors of the company. She is member of the Academy of Management, the Strategic Management Society, the Academy of International Business, the European Association for Chinese Studies, the European Association for South-East Asian Studies, a founding member of the International Association for Chinese Management Research and the German Association for Asian Studies.
