This two-volume introductory text on modern network and system theory establishes a firm analytic foundation for the analysis, design and optimization of a wide variety of passive and active circuits. Volume 1 is devoted to the fundamentals and Volume 2 to Fourier analysis and state equations. Its prerequisites are basic calculus, dc and ac networks, matrix algebra, and some familiarity with linear differential equations.
