Econometrics in the Information Age: Theory and Practice of
Measurement
Series Editors:
Lawrence R Klein (Univ. Pennsylvania)
Kanta Marwah (Carleton Univ.)
The flow of quantitative information is now voluminous, frequent, and
highly accessible. These features, together with software development
make new approaches to economic specification and statistiscal
treatment of data more tractable than ever before. Also mainstream
econometrics methods of the last 50 years can be more fruitfully
exploited. This new series of publication will focus on fresh
econometric methods and application to substantive problems that are
subject to econometric explanation. The working of global financial
markets, the modelling of economic development, and the management of
large microeconomic data files for new insights into behavior are
typical issues that will fit in this series. The blending of other
social statistics with conventional economic data in interdisciplinary
models will be given appropriate priority.
