The goal of this Series in Mathematical Biology and Medicine is to promote interdisciplinary approaches in Biology and in Medicine. The Series will publish original textbooks and monographs that are involved in:

a)   Complex systems; Nonlinear dynamics; Mathematical modelling with applications in Biology and in Medicine.
b)   Interdisciplinary approaches in Biology and in Medicine; Integration of the biological levels, from atomic to molecular, macro-molecular, cellular and organic levels; Animal biology; Plant biology.
c)   Ecological and environmental studies; Relationships between individuals, populations, communities and ecosystems; Population dynamics; Bioeconomics; Hierarchy theory; Integration of spatial and time scales.
d)   Evolutionary biology; Co-evolutions; Genetics and evolution.
e)   Medical systems; Physiology; Cardiac modelling; Computer models in Medicine; Epidemiology.
f)   Numerical simulations and computations; Confrontations of models to experimental data.
g)   Epistemology; Interdisciplinary transfers of concepts; History of science.

This series will also publish high quality proceedings of important Conferences.

Manuscripts should be submitted in duplicate to any of the two Editors-in-charge. Instructions for preparation of manuscript can be obtained from any World Scientific office.
