This aims to be the most comprehensive series of books devoted to
techniques using synchrotron light and their applications. Most of the
volumes will focus on a particular technique, covering the historical
and theoretical background, instrumentation and also giving a
comprehensive and up-to-date review of the various applications of the
technique. Others will focus on an important application
(e.g. medical, biological, industrial, surface) rather than a
technique. This series will be useful both to graduate students as
textbooks and to researchers as reference books.
