This is a series of surveys on issues in the fields of economics and business administration. Each volume covers a well-defined topic, and provides a systematic and coherent presentation and analysis of the important developments in the relevant literature. Presented and discussed are fundamental theories, analytical techniques, methodology, policy implications, and major results and conclusions.
These surveys are written for a wide range of readers, including not only graduate students and advanced undergraduate students who can use the surveys to get a fast and helpful understanding of the basic and sometimes complicated theories and results, but also researchers who want to have a quick and less costly way to get a grasp of the major developments and results in the field. Practitioners and public policy makers can find in the surveys discussion about the empirical relevance and policy implications of various highly-abstract theories.
Each volume is written by one or more academic experts who are familiar with the field, and it has been peer reviewed prior to acceptance for publication.
