George Tan is a human resource professional, change agent, head-hunter, entrepreneur, writer, publisher, hope-giver and life-long student. Despite growing up in extreme poverty and parental abuse, he has since gone on to pass his postgraduate studies with flying colours and establish a successful career. During his senior human resource appointments at international organizations like Westin Hotel and the conglomerate First Capital Corporation, George sought to empower people to bring out their best. His passion is sharing his personal story to inspire and help others realise their dreams. His life story is featured in the Singapore edition of Chicken Soup for the Soul.
